The advisory board of Knick Knack Paddy Whack is made up of representatives from each of KKPW's partner organizations. Their role is to ensure 100% of the profits are being used to fulfill the mission of giving every dog a home and ending the euthanasia of dogs in the region, state, and beyond. Richard Bailey

Richard is the founder of Knick Knack Paddy Whack and current Mayor of Coronado, California. With experience in both the private and public sector, Richard recognized the benefit of creating a for-profit company with a pure social purpose. Today, Richard oversees the day to day operations of KKPW.

Kelly Smisek

Kelly founded Frosted Faces Foundation in 2014 and currently serves at the Executive Director of the organization.

Frosted Faces Foundation advocates for senior animals and delivers quality veterinary care with the promise of family for senior animals whose love and lives are in jeopardy.

Teresa Leighty

Teresa currently serves as the President at Paws of Coronado.  

The mission of Coronado Paws is to advocate for animal welfare by providing adoption and rehabilitation services to the animals under our care, while fostering a more educated community.

Although Paws primarily serves the Coronado community, they regularly assist other shelters throughout the region.

Stephanie Nisan

Stephanie founded The Animal Pad and currently serves as President of the organization.

The Animal Pad (TAP) is a non-profit, all breed dog rescue that focuses on saving dogs from high kill shelters and the streets of Mexico.

TAP provides their rescues with vet care, places them in foster homes and then finds them loving forever families.

Rhea Marie

Rhea is the Philanthropy Specialist with the San Diego Humane Society.

Serving San Diego County since 1880, San Diego Humane Society provides vital services to animals and people by rescuing, sheltering and adopting animals, investigating animal cruelty and neglect, providing positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable animals, inspiring compassion in people through education, Pet-Assisted Therapy and much more.
